Christian Trauma Counseling is excited to offer a series of Group Trauma Processing Sessions. These one-time sessions are ninety minutes long, and each one is designed to help you process a specific life struggle that may continue to impact you into the present.
Upcoming sessions will address:
- medical trauma
- pregnancy and childbirth related traumas
- pastors, counselors, and ministry leaders with secondary trauma
- first responders and emergency medical personnel
- past betrayal trauma, and more to come.
When you join a session, we will help you to identify a relevant past incident and rate how distressing it feels to you today. We will then guide you through a series of body based methods (including bilateral stimulation) and Christian meditation strategies that aim to reduce the distress connected with the incident. Scripture, prayer, and trauma education will be woven throughout the session and we will end with time for Q&A.
People of all faith backgrounds and beliefs are welcome to participate.

I have purchased several books on the brain in the past by Caroline lea. I’m looking at your book to transform my thinking so that I don’t ruminate so much on negativity. I have some learning difficulties and cannot understand her books. Or yours any easier to follow?
